Do You Qualify?

The Boston EITC Coalition is especially interested in promoting the use of the Earned Income Credit, the tax refund for working people. This year the EIC can be up to as much as $5,891. If you are eligible, you earned this money, so don't let your refund go unclaimed!

More importantly, don't spend any of your refund paying for tax preparation - get your taxes prepared for FREE at a neighborhood tax preparation site and keep the money in your pocket! SAVE it or use it to build a better future for you and your family.

Are you eligible for the EITC? Yes, you may be eligible if you are....

SINGLE...

with 3 or more children and earn $45,060 or less
with 2 or more children and earn $41,952 or less
with 1 child and earn $36,920 or less
with no children and earn $13,980 or less (and you are at least 25 but less than 65 years old)

MARRIED...

with 3 or more children and earn $50,270 or less
with 2 or more children and earn $47,162 or less
with 1 child and earn $42,130 or less
with no children and earn $19,190 or less (and you are at least 25 but less than 65 years old)
