Boston Redevelopment Authority
A valuable collection of planning studies, efforts and initiatives related to areas along the Fairmount Indigo Corridor has been produced over the past two decades. Building upon this solid foundation, the FIPI will incorporate relevant existing efforts of both City agencies and community organizations. Active community initiatives include the Fairmount Collaborative, the Fairmount Greenway Task Force, Main Streets organizations, and other neighborhood and regional organizations such as Sustainable Communities and the Metropolitan Area Planning Council. Recent BRA initiatives to be incorporated include: Hyde Park Master Plan and Rezoning, Mattapan Economic Development, Newmarket Eco-district Program, and Mid Dorchester Action Plan. In addition, non-profit organizations and local foundations are making important contributions to the social, economic and physical growth of the Corridor. The BRA will work to ensure that all previous and current planning efforts are made available to the Consultant Team for review. Below is a comprehensive list of documents and efforts available to Consultant Teams for review.
