February 2012--Construction Manager Selection
Shawmut Design & Construction has been selected as the Construction Manager for the project. The selection was based on a number of factors including overall experience, team qualifications, experience on similar projects, and price. Shawmut Design & Construction has begun collaborating with the designers and project managers to inform the design with cost estimating and constructibility expertise.

January 2012--Project Team Update
Sasaki and Mecanoo have been chosen as the Design Team. PMA Consultants have been selected as the Owner's Project Manager, to supplement the City of Boston Public Facilities Dept. Project Management Team.

The project is in conceptual design phase, and the Construction Management Team is about to be selected from four pre-qualified teams:

Gilbane Building Company
Shawmut Design & Construction
Walsh Bros.

A new website has been created to monitor progress of the Dudley Square Municipal Office Facility.

June 13, 2011--Owner's Project Management
A Request for Qualifications for Owner's Project Manager Services has been made available at the City of Boston Public Facilities Dept. Bid Counter.

May 24, 2011--Designer Selection
The deadline for submissions for the Request for Designer Qualifications was April 22, 2011. The City of Boston Public Facilities Department received statements of qualifications from 19 teams. After compliance and technical reviews of the submissions, the Designer Selection Committee met on May 16, 2011 to critically review team qualifications and to determine a shortlist of teams to be interviewed. Seven teams were selected (see below)
